Bouza Brownies is ready to scale! We have been juggling our bake load between our home and a shared commercial kitchen space. With the help of StartUP FIU Local, we have been able to grow our network, learn about our weak areas to work on, and create concrete next steps to scale up.
I joined the program to elevate the back end of my business. To ensure I grow efficiently. I really wanted to get my products into grocery stores and left with grand advice from a Whole Foods buyer. She advised me to change a few things that will help me stand out on a shelf which saved me a lot of time and money in the long run. It truly made me feel one step closer to achieving my goals!
I joined the bootcamp so i can finally get better organized with this venture and hold myself accountable.
The Business education we received through the mentorship, help me strengthen my knowledge in Business, it has also help me feel supported and has allowed me to set better goals. Being part of the boot camp, expanded my network and really made me have hope for the future.
I was looking for help with my business and guidance, since it is overwhelming to manage every aspect of the company.
As a participant in the program, I received guidance from experts and got to know more people who are in the same spot as me. I got new knowledge and guidance in every aspect: accounting, marketing, how to manage the pricing, markets, what are we doing wrong and right within the company, if we need to pivot, and focus on the real goals to be successful.
